The Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has taken a significant leap in its customer service offerings with the launch of the MyPower Mobile and Web Apps. This digital transformation initiative is designed to empower customers by enabling them to access and manage their electricity services remotely, which includes purchasing tokens, paying bills, and reporting power outages without the need to visit physical offices.
According to a statement released by AEDC, the new platforms are part of the company's Customer Service Week activities and reflect its commitment to improving the overall customer experience. With features that allow for the monitoring of energy consumption, accessing bills and payment receipts, and managing multiple accounts and meters, the MyPower apps bring essential services into one cohesive digital ecosystem.
“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As their needs and expectations evolve, we must evolve with them,” stated Engr. Chijioke Okwuokenye, the Managing Director/CEO of AEDC, during the launch.
