Delta State Police Arrest Commissioner and Three Others in Deputy Director's Murder Case

The Delta State Police Command has made significant progress in the investigation of the tragic death of Mr. Unity Ekpevbughe Adeda, a Deputy Director in the state Ministry of Secondary Education. In a recent statement, the police confirmed the arrest of Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, the Commissioner for Secondary Education, along with three other individuals, marking a critical step in the ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Adeda's demise.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the arrests come as part of an extensive investigation that now sees five suspects in custody. “The Delta State Police Command, in continuation of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Unity Ekpevbughe Adeda, has taken into custody the Commissioner for Secondary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, alongside three other suspects in connection with the case,” stated SP Bright Edafe.
