Innovative TB Vaccines Projected to Prevent 7.3 Million Deaths by 2050, Says Gavi

The global health organization Gavi has announced that newly developed tuberculosis (TB) vaccines could potentially save up to 7.3 million lives by the year 2050. This projection comes amidst alarming statistics indicating that approximately 10.7 million people contracted TB in 2024 alone, resulting in 1.2 million deaths worldwide due to the disease.
