Katsina State Unveils ₦828.6 Billion Budget Proposal for 2027

Katsina State has officially presented its budget proposal for the year 2027, amounting to ₦828.6 billion, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and public services across the region. The ambitious budget, dubbed 'Building Your Future IV', reflects the state's commitment to long-term development, with a notable allocation of ₦637.91 billion, representing 76.98% of the total budget, dedicated to capital expenditure.

This budget proposal highlights a significant shift towards prioritizing capital projects, which are expected to stimulate economic growth and improve living standards for the residents of Katsina. In contrast, recurrent spending is set at ₦190.73 billion, accounting for 23.02% of the proposed budget, underscoring a balanced approach between development and operational costs.
