Ogun State Government Confirms Land Cost Deadline Missed by Applicant

The Ogun State government has announced that Adijat Jumoke Busari, the applicant for a 4.646-hectare parcel of land located at Fere Village, Jibowu, along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway, failed to fulfill the payment requirement within the stipulated 60-day period. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, disclosed that the land was valued at a significant N334,493,200, which underscores its potential for development.

Akinmade emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timelines for land acquisition, stating that such measures are in place to ensure a transparent and efficient process. "The deadline for payment is not arbitrary; it is designed to maintain order and accountability in land transactions within the state," he noted.
