The Okoya family has come forward to clarify the status of Fatai, who recently made headlines with claims regarding his relationship with the billionaire businessman, Chief Rasheed Okoya. In a public statement, the family firmly rejected Fatai's portrayal of his estrangement, asserting that he is actually the third child, not the first, as he had claimed.
In addition to disputing Fatai's account, the Okoya family highlighted that he has benefited from their generosity, having received four luxury flats among other perks. This assertion aims to paint a different picture of his relationship with the family than the one he has presented, emphasizing the support he has actually received.
Furthermore, the family addressed allegations that Shade Okoya, Chief Okoya's wife, had prevented Fatai from meeting his father. They categorically denied these claims, underscoring that no such interference had taken place. “Fatai has always had access to his father, and any suggestion to the contrary is simply untrue,” a family spokesperson stated.
This public rebuttal comes amid growing interest in the personal dynamics of the Okoya family, particularly in light of Fatai's recent media appearances where he expressed feelings of neglect and estrangement. The family's response serves to clarify their position and reaffirm their commitment to dispelling any misinformation surrounding their family relationships.
