Nigeria and Trabzonspor of Turkey combative midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, says The Super Eagles are occupied with thoughts on how to defeat the Desert Foxes of Algeria which will put them in a comfortable position to qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup.
The Eagles will face a big test of overcoming the North African giants in Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo.
Onazi, who is expected to be in Saturday’s starting line-up says total focus is required if the three time African champions are to record their ninth win over the Fennecs at the Akwa Ibom Stadium.
Nigeria will go into the game leading the Group B with three points, two ahead of Saturday’s opponent, Algeria.
Onazi told journalists in Uyo, “We don’t need to speak too much but we will try to concentrate on ourselves.
“We also want Nigerians to know that the game against Algeria on Saturday is not going to be easy.
“Any side playing against Nigeria these days tend to raise their game, so we know the task ahead of us.
“We just pray for God to give us the grace to get all three points on Saturday,” he concluded.
